In 2012 we relocated Rainbow Kids Hairstyling to 7164 Edinger Ave at Goldenwest St. (after 25 years in the Target center on Beach Blvd.)
We re-vamped each of our stations adding a screens to watch Disney+. This area is vibrant and growing every day. Our center now includes Hobby Lobby, Ashley's Furniture, and Don Ramon's. We are conveniently located across from Goldenwest College just off the 405 freeway at Edinger Ave. and Goldenwest St.
What We Do: Rainbow Kids is a hair salon designed for kids and families too, starting as young as a few months (yes, some kids are just born with a ton of hair) through the school years, high school dances, weddings and beyond to adult. Our Stylists have been trained to cut and style hair on the little ones that fuss, as well as popular pre-teen and teen styles.
Some of our stylists have 20-30 years of experience working with children's hair. All our stylists have the patience and caring attitude to get the job done with the even the most squrimmy-ist of clients. We strive to make the experience a positive one, and be quick to minimize the little ones stress and well as the parents.
We carry many hair care products, your stylist can recommend ones that will work best for your child. We also offer Feathers extensions, Bling Strings and many other hair accessories.
Rainbow Kids started in 1979 in South Huntington Beach with 1 owner, and was eventually sold to a Husband and Wife team in 1984. These owners opened a second salon in North Huntington Beach/Westminster in 1986. They Continued to grow to a total of 6 Rainbow Kids Hairstyling salons in Northern Orange County. All of the salons were franchised to either managers or employees that were working for Rainbow in those shops at the time, and continue to this day to be successful.
